An addition to Dr. Kunimura’s practice since 2014, Dr. Rivera received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Seattle University. She went on to complete her Optometry degree from Pacific University and subsequently fulfilled a residency in ocular disease at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia.
A native of Hilo, she feels very fortunate to be able to return home and work with Dr. Kunimura to provide eye care services to the Hawaii community. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also loves travelling, playing tennis, hiking and running.
